Space Banshee Exorcist follows the titular Space Banshee, Fenshaw, a banshee who’s moved into space and become an exorcist.

Undead in the space age, she makes a ‘living’ travelling across a far future, ultra-capitalistic galaxy, between moon colonies and star stations, fighting monsters and helping hapless humans rid themselves of the spectres and ghouls they’ve brought with them from earth.

In this first full-length graphic novel, she is sent to the mysterious medical testing moon, Morrigan, by a pharmaceutical inventor to find out why his clones are disappearing and to kill whatever creature is responsible. Fenshaw quickly realises that things are darker than she anticipated and has to navigate her own place in the universe at the same time as doing her job.

Space Banshee Exorcist first appeared in a complete short story published in Brawler #1 back in 2019, written by Katie with art by Grace Toscano.

2 further Fenshaw shorts were published in Brawler #2 and #3, again written by Katie but now with artist Danielle Wiebe.

Katie and Danielle next created together the 48 page Space Banshee Exorcist: Morrigan story that was serialised across 4 issues of the much-missed Quantum anthology comic.

Danielle then revisited Katie’s original short story and redrew it completely in her own amazing style. These new pages have never been published.

The Space Banshee Exorcist graphic novel collects these talented creators’ full-length Morrigan story and publishes Danielle’s take on Katie’s first SBE story for the first time.
